Fazli Okkers started out in the solar energy industry in 1988 with a well known Solar Water Heating Company called Sol-Energy, owned by two directors, Mike Smith and Gideon Avisar. Fazli was immediately passionate about solar water heating and under the guidance of Mike and Gideon excelled in the skill of installing and designing solar water heating systems.

After mastering installing and designing systems, Fazli decided that it was time to go solo. In 1994 Fazli opened his own Sol-energy franchise offices in Worcester and registered Sunhot Solar as a closed corporation in 1995. After Sol-Energy's shutdown, Fazli started to build relations with Solardome SA, a company that has been manufacturing solar thermal collectors and copper solar geysers for over 40 years.

Today, with over 19 years worth of experience under the belt, Fazli and his dedicated team at Sun Hot Solar is fully equipped to design and install a solar water heating system that not only works like a charm, but is aesthetically pleasing to the eye and will last you for many years to come.
